On the Day of the Show:

Please bring you child to the theatre with a zip up sweatshirt or cardigan so as to not mess up their hair and make up when taking it on and off.

No jewellery is to be worn on the stage or for photos and it is best to take this off before arriving at the theatre to prevent it getting lost. Any jewellery that cannot be removed such as bracelets they have had since they were young, or newly pierced earrings will have to be covered with tan coloured tape.

Also no nail polish or fake tattoos. Please remove these before the photo shoot and arriving at the theatre for the shows.

Ballet Students:

All Ballet students will require clean ballet shoes, ballet knickers and clean, hole free ballet tights for the show, photos and all rehearsals. Ballet knickers are $10.99 from PW Dance and Sportswear, 351 Colombo St. (Students should already own these as they are part of the uniform)

Jazz Students

All Jazz students will require clean jazz shoes and clean, hole free jazz tights.

They are the Micro classic "Tan" tights from PW Dance and Sportswear, 351 Colombo St. They cost $12.99.

Tutus & Tiaras Classes

Red Ants & Oysters (Tutus & Tiaras Level One and Two classes) will require Ballet Tights, Ballet Knickers and Ballet Shoes (if applicable) for all photos and all rehearsals.

Ballet knickers are $10.99 from PW Dance and Sportswear, 351 Colombo St.  

NB: Clean Ballet/Jazz Shoes - Please do not buy brand new shoes as the students will grow out of them over the holidays. Ballet and Jazz Shoe paint is available at many different stores if the shoes are scuffed and worn looking.

Videos

As the price to film videos has skyrocketed over the past few years, we can no longer afford to film and distribute our performances.  Some people may be unaware that we have to pay a huge fee (this starts at $27/video) to the licensing company APRA for the rights to the music that is being played as well as the videoing/editing costs of the company we engage to video the performance.  However if you wish to video your child there will seats set aside for this purpose, please purchase a video seat, though to avoid copyright issues, you can only video your child for the time they are performing.  We are disappointed that we no longer can afford this wonderful keepsake.

**There will be no classes held the week after the 22nd November show so that all Tutors, Students and Parents can recharge. Classes recommence Saturday 28th November.**
